We are holding an Open Meeting on Saturday 27th April chaired by Mark Chivers. Kate Parker, a speaker from Shelter, the Housing and Homelessnes charity, will share with us the current issues they face, and this will be followed by an open discussion and debate. Do Government changes to benefits exacerbate the problem? What has happened to Council Housing? Is the Bedroom Tax needed? How come benefits are capped but rents can increase uncontrolled? What are your experiences? And perhaps most importantly what are the solutions?
