We will be supporting two events on the weekend of Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st September 2014 - Come along and join us at either of them!
The Little Green Festival is being held at California Barn and Camp, Swanage BH19 2RS on Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st September
We will be running a stall at this event. This festival is being held on a site adjacent to the proposed oil rig at California Quarry, so is an excellent opportunity to voice our opposition to fracking! We will be taking this opportunity to launch our sub-group Purbeck Green Party, in recognition of the unique identity of this special part of Dorset. Global Day of Action on Climate Change is happening on the same weekend.

People of the world will be taking to the streets to inspire the world’s leaders to take ambitious action on Sunday 21st September. We will be joining 38 million others on this march, with over 1000 marches worldwide.

We will be meeting at 1.00pm to walk around the town, sign a petition, and make a statement on the eve of a historic United Nations summit on Climate Change. We will take a big group photo. The walk will start at 1:30 and finish about 2:30 back at the Kino Lounge. I do hope you will be able to take part - we'll be there with the Green Party banner!
