Following the successful launch of Purbeck Green Party this autumn as an off-shoot of South East Dorset Green Party, members and supporters living in Christchurch met last week to discuss the future of the party in their area. Items discussed included standing a Parliamentary candidate in the general election next May, as well as fielding candidates for the local council. A further meeting is planned to develop fundraising ideas and raising awareness of the Green Party among local residents.
