An article published in the Independent this week by local journalist and South East Dorset Green Party supporter Lee Williams lists reasons why Russell Brand should vote for the Green Party.
Russell Brand said that he has never voted and never would. He stated that there was no credible left-wing alternative to UKIP. Lee Williams tells him that there is, and it’s a party whose policies bear an uncanny resemblance to his own ideas.
Brand cites many areas such as the extension retirement age, privatisation of social housing, the power of the banking elite, the privatisation of the NHS, renationalisation of the rail system, and immigration, all of which are addressed by the Green Party.
