NHS workers and members of the public are set to demonstrate against proposed changes to health services in Dorset.
The demonstration organised by campaign group Keep Our NHS Public Dorset will take place at Horseshoe Common in Bournemouth on Saturday, April 22 from 12pm until 3pm.
This is a public platform for you to come and pledge your support for the NHS. Simon Bull, Bournemouth's only Green Party Councillor, will be one of the speakers at the rally. South East Dorset Green Party will be running a stall at this event - any members and supporters will be welcome to come along and help.

A spokesman for the group said: “We’re all worried about the future of the NHS and we feel helpless to stop £22bn of cuts. We will only save the NHS by working together across the country.
“This time it’s a gathering - a fete bringing together campaigners, NHS workers and members of the public. There will be music, speakers and stalls but more importantly we will be giving people (who care about the NHS and want to save it) a platform to say what they think about the attack on their local NHS services.”
The group will demonstrate against proposals to shake up health services across the county, including cutting community hospitals and making Royal Bournemouth Hospital a major emergency centre, with Poole Hospital for planned care as part of Dorset CCG’s Clinical Services Review.
The spokesman added: “The changes will mean more people having to travel further to an A&E Department in Bournemouth. Many of the proposed cuts announced by the Dorset CCG are unnecessary, damaging and reckless.”
