Simon Bull and Chris Rigby were out with local Green activists doing a litter pick of Winton Recreation Ground again this month.
Simon is a long time active member of the Dorset Devils, a group of 410+ residents of the borough of Bournemouth and beyond who love where they live but dislike the sight of litter and its effects on our community and environment, especially its wildlife and marine life.
Simon says: "We managed to find a carpet, an estate agent's sign, various bottles, lots of plastic, and all sorts of rubbish.
"We're intending to hold another one, and I invite you to come along and join us. It's surprising how much fun it is to wander around the park picking up litter with a group of us, and it's good exercise."

Chris Rigby adds that if you can't join us, "take action on your own. Go out, do a two-minute litter pick, go on the beach, come down the Rec, do it any time.
