Bournemouth Green Party Councillor Simon Bull has expressed concern about the appropriateness of BCP Council's preparations for the recent parking chaos on the seafront, which has attracted regional and national media attention.
I hearing it's parking chaos across the seafront today. I am sure officers are doing their very best, they shouldn't be put in this predicament. With the experience and predictability surely this could have been dealt with better.

BCP Council state they issued over 800 parking tickets over the weekend alone, and deployed a tow truck to remove a wave of irresponsibly parked cars. A national newspaper reported that resident photographs showed cars parked on roundabouts, verges, pavements and double yellow lines."
