Natalie Bennett, Green Party Leader of England and Wales, visited Bournemouth on Wednesday 5th June. She met members of the local Green Party, other local environmentalists, proposed off-shore wind farm developers Navitus, and a group of students at Bournemouth University.
In the evening she took part in a debate: "A living wage- what it is and what it does," alongside Dr Graham Kings, the Bishop of Sherborne and Paul Nowak, the Assistant General Secretary of the TUC. The debate, which was well attended, was part of Bournemouth University's Festival of Learning Programme which runs from the 3rd to 14th June.
