Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole Green Party unveiled its list of candidates for the BCP Council election on 4th May 2023, at a big campaign launch event on Boscombe Beach.
Councillor Chris Rigby, BCP Green Party Chair, said: "We're so excited to be launching our campaign today to #GetGreensElected right across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole on May 4th pushing for fairer greener communities.
"We have incredible candidates in 31* of 33 wards so if you want to vote Green you can, and we know when you vote Green, you get Green.
"We've seen Green gains across the country over the last few years, and now it's BCPs turn to return even more Green Councillors to represent them and a fairer greener approach to politics."
*The wards without Green candidates are Muscliff & Strouden Park and Oakdale, which are currently represented by independents who are either part of the Bournemouth Independent & Green Group with Cllrs Simon Bull and Chris Rigby or have worked closely with them on climate issues.
