On Friday 9 August, Councillor Sara Armstrong (East Cliff & Springbourne) was invited to meet with ward colleagues and members of the Bournemouth Hebrew Congregation, BCP councillors including our new Council Leader Cllr Millie Earl, and the Jewish Board of Deputies, for a tour of the Synagogue.
They were later joined by Dorset Police & Crime Commissioner David Sidwick for a round-table discussion about how community cohesion, dialogue and mutual understanding can be facilitated amongst all members of our community.
Sara said: “Please contact myself or my ward colleagues, Cllr Anne Filer [Conservative] or Cllr Anne-Marie Moriarty [Labour], if you are interested to get involved with any interfaith work. Working together for a kinder, happier world “
