Life–expired streetlights on Wessex Way have been renewed, following concerted pressure from local councillor Alasdair Keddie. Their head units had reached the end of their life and needed full replacement [pictured], rather than a simple bulb change.
Alasdair said: “This stretch of the alleyway along Wessex Way has felt unsafe after dark, and has been a magnet for drug dealing and fly tipping. This should help towards reducing some of the problems.”
