Councillor Sara Armstrong

East Cliff & Springbourne, BCP Council

Sara Armstrong was elected as East Cliff & Springbourne’s first Green councillor in a resounding by-election win on 29th June 2023.

Sara is a single mum to two grown-up children. She has lived in Springbourne for over 20 years working for local charities, the council and the NHS. She is passionate about championing community issues, and stood to become a councillor because she wants more for our neighbourhood than was previously being offered. She firmly believes that when we work together, we can all thrive.

Sara regularly holds community actions including litter picks, which any member of the East Cliff & Springbourne community can join. The best way to keep updated on these (and Sara’s other news) is to follow her Facebook page.
